It is with great pleasure that Seattle Swedish Community Scholarships extends this invitation to all eligible high school seniors in King County to submit applications for the following awards for the year 2013: The purpose of these scholarships is to encourage and financially assist high school seniors to further their education beyond high school. Awards are made possible through donations.

Criteria and procedures: Note: Swedish ancestry not required.

Finalists will be selected on the following basis:
  1. The candidate’s high school record.
  2. ACT or SAT score.
  3. Financial assessment.
  4. Leadership and community service.
Scholarship winners will be determined through interviews held on May 18, 2013.

Applications are available at the high schools and from Seattle Swedish Community Scholarships, and must be received through U.S. mail no later than March 31, 2013. Download an application, or contact:
